With the level 2 diver certification, you have a certification that demonstrates quality training provided by professional diving instructors.

Upon completion of this demanding and stimulating training, you will learn to become completely self-sufficient, from preparing your diving equipment to diving independently to a depth of 20 meters. You will have all the necessary skills to progress to a depth of 40 meters accompanied by a guide.

Once you have your valuable certification in hand, you will be able, for life, to explore the underwater treasures of the world such as Polynesia, Egypt, the West Indies and many other dream destinations.

What are the prerogatives of a level 2 diver?

Once you have obtained your Level 2 certification, you can dive in French diving clubs, to a depth of 40m accompanied by a guide and 20m independently with other divers of the same or equivalent level. Your training will also be internationally recognized (CMAS 2-star).

What are the prerequisites for registering for level 2?

You must hold a Level 1 or Open Water certification. You must be able to demonstrate good health by presenting a medical certificate at the start of your training, stating that there are no contraindications to scuba diving. This certificate can be issued by a general practitioner. For divers between 14 and 18 years old, parental authorization is required.

What is the structure of level 2 training?

Level 2 will provide you with all the skills and knowledge to move around easily and safely in a foreign environment.

• The Level 2 diver training course refines the basic techniques and skills already acquired in your previous training. Mastering these will allow you to dive to a depth of 40 meters.

• You will dive beyond the no-decompression limit. You will learn dive planning, taking into account factors such as air consumption and decompression.

• You will discover what narcosis is and learn how to manage it.

• You will learn the skills necessary for independent progress such as orientation, planning, safety elements, and providing assistance to your partner.

• The gradual learning process will give you the feeling that being a diver is child's play, accessible to all.

• You will discover the behind-the-scenes aspects of scuba diving by developing simple and fascinating theoretical knowledge in the fields of physiology, physics, and chemistry.
