Sidemount TDI Training
2 days – 4 dives
No more carrying the tank on your back, discover a new way to dive!
Some good reasons to dive using Sidemount:
Reduced height bulk, which increases your potential for exploration and penetration in cave diving or on wrecks.
Improved balance through repositioning of the center of gravity. Whether on your stomach or back, you no longer roll and remain balanced.
Increased autonomy by primarily using 2 x 11L bottles.
Securing your autonomy by keeping your gas stock in sight and within easy reach, you can quickly intervene in case of a leak.
Flexible and modular, you can easily change the bottle volume and use from 1 to 4 different bottles depending on your gas needs.
Lightweight and compact for your travels, weighing less than a traditional buoyancy compensator. Depending on your needs, you can dive in a lightweight or heavy configuration.

Make yourself as small as possible thanks to the Sidemount
You will learn how to use a side-mount harness, and how to position your tanks on your side to reduce your height and bulk in the water.
You will learn how to change the position of your bottles to squeeze through rocky narrows or cramped wrecks.
Manage your redundancy
In wreck diving or overhead diving, you cannot return to the surface instantly. The same applies to deep decompression diving, which restricts you to a virtual ceiling.
You will learn how to manage your gas supply and separate cylinders according to your diving objectives.
You will learn to react to incident situations, both independently and as a team (gas leak, continuous flow regulator, air failure)
