Normoxic trimix rebreather training

70m trimix mixed gas rebreather diver training (rEvo / JJ-CCR / Inspiration / Shark):
- Complete training: 4 days – 6 dives
- Crossover: 3 days – 5 dives (trimix diver, CCR, other machine)

Reserved for experienced air diluent rebreather divers who have completed at least 30 dives and 50 hours of practice, the elementary trimix rebreather diver and advanced trimix rebreather diver courses allow you to access great depths.
Trimix rebreather diving is, to date, the most efficient , safest and most economical solution for long and safe dives up to 120m.

Basic trimix diluent rebreather diver training (70m)

Jour 1

Les fondamentaux techniques

Matin :
Plongée 1 - Technique vérification et renforcement des acquis.
Pilotage manuel (oxygène, diluant) Remontée bail-out, circuit ouvert.
Technique de flottabilité et gestion du trim.
Manipulation matériel : bail-out, ligne de déco, fil d’Ariane, Parachute et dévidoir.

Après-midi :
Plongée 2 - Travail en binôme, gestion du stress et de la complexité.
Optimisation de l’autonomie bail-out en circuit semi-fermé.
Méthodologie de gestion du stress en environnement spécifique (grotte, épave).
Scénario intégral de mode dégradé avec travail en binôme.

Jour 2

Mise en application, 50m max

Matin :
Plongée 3 - Planification d’une plongée profonde avec remontée bail-out intégrale 50m à la surface.
Prise en compte de la variation DTR CC=>OC
Communication surface, mise en place ligne de décompression de secours.

Après-midi :
Plongée 4 - Optimisation des techniques de flottabilité, trim et propulsion.

Généralités sur la plongée au trimix OC.
Spécificités de la plongée trimix en CC (diluant, stratégie de BO, décompression).
Apprentissage des gonflages.
Préparation de la configuration individuelle idéale.

Day 3

Access to a depth of 60m

Matin :
Plongée 5 - Gestion d’un mode dégradé en restant sur la boucle respiratoire.
Scénario d’incident CCR : rinçage profond, semi fermé, pilotage manuel 60m à la surface.


Après midi :
Théorie - Réflexion sur les procédures de réchappe. What if !
Utilisation des logiciels de planification et de gonflage.
Rédaction des run-time de secours.

Day 4

Autonomy at a depth of 70m

Morning :

Synthesis of knowledge and behaviors.
Supervised diving in a situation of total autonomy.


Afternoon :

End of the internship - Knowledge test, correction, debriefing of the internship.

CCR training in normoxic trimix diluent

Upon completion of the training, the CCR trimix diluent diver will be able to operate in a group of autonomous divers, up to a depth of 70 meters using the same type/model of rebreather as during the training.

Access conditions and deadlines: Session open to up to 4 divers

Session maintained with a minimum of 2 divers.

Registration must be completed no later than 15 days before the start of the training, subject to availability.

Duration: 4 consecutive days.

Prices: 1300 euros including tax (certification card extra).

The training fee includes dives, training, boat transport, air diluent and trimix and oxygen fillings, lime, theoretical courses and post-training follow-up.

If crossover (transition from one machine to another), the duration and price of the training are different: 3 days for 950 euros including VAT (excluding certification).

The training takes place at Plongée Tek Marseille / Atmos, Port de la Pointe Rouge in Marseille.

The issuance of the certification is specific to the type/model of the recycler used.

The following rebreathers can be certified: rEvo, JJ-CCR, Shark, Triton and Inspiration AP DIVING.

Prerequisites and access conditions:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Accessible from CCR level air diluent + 50 hours of practice on the same type/model of rebreather

  • Medical certificate stating no contraindication to scuba diving, issued by a general practitioner and dated less than one year before the start date of training

The training is provided by Nicolas SEKSIK, holder of the State Diploma of Youth, Popular Education and Sport, sports development, mention of underwater diving activities (DEJEPS E4) and TDI and FFESSM instructor in active status.

The CCR normoxic trimix diluent training alternates between theoretical and practical courses, both dry at the center and on the boat, and sessions in the water in the 0-70 meter zone.

Part of the theoretical coursework is covered prior to the training, through e-learning, accessible from our website using the password sent after booking.

The remaining theoretical courses are covered in person, in the classroom and/or on the boat.

The assessment of acquired skills is carried out by means of a written test at the end of the training and throughout the training, during practical dives. Assessments are conducted in person.
