Crossover Recycler Training

Are you already trained on a machine and want to change your recycler? This training is for you.

Access conditions and deadlines: Session open to up to 4 divers

Session maintained with a minimum of 2 divers.

Registration must be completed no later than 15 days before the start of the training, subject to availability.

Duration: 3 consecutive days.

Price: 950 euros (certification card not included).

The training takes place at Plongée Tek Marseille / Atmos, Port de la Pointe Rouge in Marseille.

The following rebreathers can be certified: rEvo, JJ-CCR, Shark, Triton, Liberty and Inspiration AP DIVING.

The training is provided by Nicolas SEKSIK, holder of the State Diploma of Youth, Popular Education and Sport, sports development, mention of underwater diving activities (DEJEPS E4) and TDI and FFESSM instructor in active status.

Prerequisites and access conditions:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Accessible as soon as you have a CCR certification on another machine, regardless of the certification agency

  • Medical certificate stating no contraindication to scuba diving, issued by a general practitioner and dated less than one year before the start date of training

The CCR crossover training alternates between theoretical and practical courses, both on land at the center and on the boat, and sessions in the water.

Part of the theoretical coursework is covered prior to the training, through e-learning, accessible from our website using the password sent after booking.

The remaining theoretical courses are covered in person, in the classroom and/or on the boat.

The assessment of acquired skills is carried out by means of a written test at the end of the training and throughout the training, during practical dives. Assessments are conducted in person.

Jour 1

Morning :
Theoretical course on mixed gas diving from nitrox to rebreather via trimix.
Assembly, disassembly. Machine preparation and check. Checklist.


Afternoon :
2 Discovery dives to 20m.
Learning buoyancy in a rebreather, opening and closing the DSV mouthpiece, high and low set-point transition.

Jour 2

Morning :
Technical dive (ascent on bail-out 20m).


Afternoon :
Technical dive (manual piloting 20m).

Day 3

Morning :
Technical diving (rescue and diver assistance 20m).


Afternoon :
Technical diving (incident response, application of procedures)
