Air Rebreather Training

CCR air diluent training

Upon completion of the training, the CCR air diluent diver will be able to operate in a group of autonomous divers, up to a depth of 40 meters using the same type/model of rebreather as during the training.

Access conditions and deadlines: Session open to up to 4 divers.

Session maintained with a minimum of 2 divers.

Registration must be completed no later than 15 days before the start of the training, subject to availability.

Duration: 4 consecutive days.

Price: 1250 euros including VAT (excluding certification).

The training fee includes dives, training, boat transport, air and oxygen diluent fills, lime, theory courses and post-training follow-up.

If crossover (transition from one machine to another), the duration and price of the training are different: 3 days for 950 euros including VAT (excluding certification).

The training takes place at Plongée Tek Marseille / Atmos, Port de la Pointe Rouge in Marseille.

The issuance of the certification is specific to the type/model of the recycler used.

The following rebreathers can be certified: rEvo, JJ-CCR, Triton, Shark, Liberty and Inspiration AP DIVING.

Prerequisites and access conditions:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Accessible from Level 3 + Nitrox confirmed

  • Medical certificate stating no contraindication to scuba diving, issued by a general practitioner and dated less than one year before the start date of training

The training is provided by Nicolas SEKSIK, holder of the State Diploma of Youth, Popular Education and Sport, sports development, mention of underwater diving activities (DEJEPS E4) and TDI and FFESSM instructor in active status.

The CCR air diluent training alternates between theoretical and practical courses, both dry at the center and on the boat, and sessions in the water in the 0-40 meter zone.

Part of the theoretical coursework is covered prior to the training, through e-learning, accessible from our website using the password sent after booking.

The remaining theoretical courses are covered in person, in the classroom and/or on the boat.

The assessment of acquired skills is carried out by means of a written test at the end of the training and throughout the training, during practical dives. Assessments are conducted in person.

Jour 1

Matin :
Cours théorique sur la plongée aux mélanges depuis le nitrox jusqu’au recycleur en passant par le trimix.
Montage, démontage. Préparation et contrôle de la machine. Checklist.


Après midi :
2 Plongées de découverte à 20m.
Apprentissage de la flottabilité en recycleur, ouverture et fermeture de l’embout DSV, passage set-point haut et bas.

Jour 2

Matin :
Plongée technique (remontée sur bail-out 20m).


Après midi :
Plongée technique (pilotage manuel 20m).

Jour 3

Morning :
Technical diving (rescue and diver assistance 20m).


Afternoon :
Technical diving (incident response, application of 20m procedures)
Theoretical course (planning and decompression).

Day 4

Morning :

Exploration dive with decompression, mastery of commitment.


Afternoon :

Technical diving (incident response, application of procedures, diver assistance).
