Formation initiateur FFESSM

7 days – 14 dives
Provide baptisms and level 1 and 2 training courses

The FFESSM club instructor training is intended for divers who want to obtain their first level of instructor and wish to dedicate themselves to teaching.

The training takes place over an intensive 7-day course, including the exam:

  • Days 1 and 2 of the initial training : Learning pedagogy, description of training programs, regulations

  • Days 3 to 6: Practical application : Practice of teaching situations, from baptism to advanced training. Preparation for the physical and pedagogical aspects of the exam.

  • Day 7 : Summary and exam

The training is accessible to adult divers, holding level 2 and RIFAP certification, licensed with the FFESSM and having completed at least 12 dives independently.

Candidates must also present a medical certificate of no contraindication to scuba diving less than one year old, issued by a federal doctor or holder of the CES in sports medicine (capacity or DU), hyperbaric doctor or diving doctor.

Candidates must possess a solid understanding of the theoretical knowledge specific to scuba diving. The Vagnon Level 4 Dive Leader certification is a valuable learning resource for future instructors.

The training is provided by Nicolas SEKSIK (MF2, DEJEPS) and Emmanuel BERNIER (MF2, BEES2), both authors of the "Vagnon Code for level 4 diver - dive leader".
